Ice Age 6 is officially in development
Disney announced at D23 in Brazil that they are preparing a new film The Ice Age.
The original Ice Age cast returns for the sequel
As well as revealing it Ice Age 6 is in developmentthe project’s logo was shown and it was confirmed that the original cast will return for the new film. After the announcement, no details about the film’s plot were provided, so we will have to wait to get an idea of what we will see in this sixth part.
Even though the franchise isn’t at its best, and has been in decline for years, it still has a lot of fans, so let’s hope the next film returns to the saga’s roots.
The animated sequel will feature the actors Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Queen Latifah, Denis Leary and Simon Pegg. The film will be released in theaters in 2026, a year that will be very competitive on the animation side.
