Ryan Reynolds and the team at Marvel Studios have been trying to get another return for Deadpool and Wolverine
Deadpool and Wolverine almost have a highly requested return from fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Ryan Reynolds reveals another discarded Deadpool and Wolverine idea
During an interview on Entertainment Weekly’s The Awardist podcast, Ryan Reynolds commented that Nicolas Cage’s Ghost Rider was initially in one version of the script.
“It was in the early drafts. We had versions of it [secuencia]but then, as it happened, we realized that… We’re also trying to make the film responsibly. It’s a big budget. “It’s the biggest budget of all the Deadpool movies, but you want to give yourself as much restraint as possible, which I think really facilitates asymmetrical thinking and creativity.”
“If you have too much time or too much money, you usually kill that kind of creativity. So yes, you’re narrowing it down. But we talked to Nic Cage. We tried to get him, but it wasn’t an option… I would have liked it.”
Even if fans were left without seeing Cage in the film UCMthere is still a possibility that the star will return Avengers: Secret Wars. Deadpool and Wolverine will arrive on Disney+ on November 12th.
