The showrunner of Agatha All Along, Jac Schaeffertalked about the character mentioned in episode 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series. If you haven’t seen the episode yet, you should stop reading because major spoilers will be shared.
During an interview with Total Film, Schaeffer was asked how important this is Mephisto in it UCMto which the creator of Agate he simply responded that it was a nod to the multiple theories from which they originated Scarlet Witch and Vision.
“It was a wink, definitely, yes. […] So the same fan theories don’t inform the actual plot that I do or even Marvel does. In fact, I actually like to think about what attracts people. For example, what turns them on? And that’s what turns me on? “That’s where I feel like I’m successful and my team is successful, when we can find that sweet spot where we’re excited, it tickles our brains and makes us want to dress up, but it also has that effect on the fans.” .
This response from Schaeffer doesn’t really offer anything interesting, however, the showrunner also spoke to Entertainment Weekly, and there she said that the popular villain is involved in Agatha’s story.
“On these shows, a lot of times there’s something that’s both a tease and a wink, and there’s actually something legitimate underneath. As we all know, Mephisto is a very involved character in Agatha’s story. I mean, people have to watch, but we always play for the audience that way.”
We don’t know if the long-awaited villain will finally appear in the program, but knowing that the character exists in the MCU is good news for all those fans who want to see him in a project soon. Now, this being should come out Iron heart performed by Sacha Baron Cohenalthough, given the delay suffered by the program, it is difficult to know whether the original plan was maintained.
