According to The Hollywood Reporter, Aaron Pierre (Rebel Ridge) and Stephan James (The Beale Street Blues) are DC Studios’ favorites for the role of John Stewart in Lanterns, the HBO series prepared by James Gunn. The media assure that the decision will be made very soon, commenting that it could happen at the end of this weekend. The report also revealed this Damson Idris (Snowfall) he was shortlisted to be that version of Green Lantern, but is no longer competing for the role.
