The Shi’ar use xenomorphs as weapons
This chapter opens with a Shi’ar ship experimenting on a Kree soldier. This alternate reality revisits their rivalry from the Earth-616 mainstream comics and cartoons. Two Shi’ar scientists want to create a biological weapon for the war. These are none other than the Xenomorphs. Unfortunately, the Kree soldier has perished.

It pays homage to the Engineers, who created the Xenomorphs in Ridley Scott’s films. However, while the Engineers wanted to wipe out worlds and rebuild them in the name of evolution, the Shi’ar personnel were operating on a personal vendetta. It is revealed that they also performed failed experiments on the Strontians (Gladiator’s species), the Cotati, the D’Bari, and the Skrulls. However, a Facehugger has escaped and wants to impregnate someone to produce Xenomorphs.
He succeeds and infects one of the Shi’ar members. This is revealed when Black Panther (King T’Challa) and his son, Azari, arrive with their soldiers from the Intergalactic Empire. They eliminate many of the creatures, only to learn that ships have been deployed to other planets, such as Earth, Chandilar, and Spartax (where Peter Quill’s father is from). These ships act as a purging mechanism, similar to the black substance in Prometheus.
What is the purpose of the Alien invasion against the Avengers?
The Shiite experience is about genocide
These targets are “seed worlds”, with ships labeled “seed probes”. Each contains 12 aliens implanted in hosts and four queen eggs. The four most populated regions of each world are targeted, resulting in a pandemic once the pods are opened and the Facehuggers are unleashed. Chestbursters develop, Xenomorphs form after incubation, and once the Queen is born, she has her hive mind and a deadly legion.
T’Challa is heartbroken, because he is going to lose his home with the queens making more eggs and converting more victims. His armada comes up with a plan, because they have to survive. It is to find the ships and the people who left this outpost. They have a key weapon in the head of one of the Shi’ar scientists. It is actually a synthesizer, mimicking the androids of the Stranger movies. Black Panther decapitates the robot, clearly seeking to hack the brain and gain information.
They have to stop this scourge, not just on Earth, but across the galaxy. Attilan (home of the Inhumans), Wakanda, Asia, Europe, and Atlantis have already fallen. It’s all because of the arrogance of the Shi’ar experiment and whoever is responsible for the Shi’ar Synthesizer. Theorists speculate that Thanos could be behind this, but that remains to be confirmed. The Mad Titan loves population control and genocide, so who knows? The fact is that this mystery adds to the appeal of the story’s villains.
Who are the protagonists of Aliens vs. Avengers?
Valeria Richards, Captain Marvel, Hulk and Spider-Man form a resistance
The first issue of Aliens vs Avengers shows the last remaining free human city. It is implied that this is New York City. This dystopian future features older versions of Bruce Banner, Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, and Miles Morales. Their job is to protect an adult, Valeria Richards. Banner can also transform into the Hulk, which helps the 45-year-old, twice-divorced Valeria steal an alien egg. So fans want to know the backstory of these people.
Valeria confirms that once a Facehugger has latched on, neither magic nor science can stop the infection. But she has a solution: create a virus to kill the eggs. Banner fears that this will turn the beings into something more enraged and ferocious. Carol, however, is all in. It can’t get any worse. She’s desperate, admitting that even though their base is fortified, once the aliens enter the city, she’ll turn into a bomb, sacrifice her life, and destroy the place. She wants to avoid that if possible.
There is another protagonist in this tower, which the Avengers are in. It is a Weyland building, and the owner is an old man in a wheelchair. It is assumed that this is Peter Weyland, the boss who created the sinister Weyland-Yutani Corporation. But it could be Iron Man, given the orange and red of a key dialogue box. He talks about what makes them heroes inside people, not their outer shell. The covers of the first two issues show an Iron Man working with the Avengers.
He also has holes in his head. This suggests that this Tony Stark- if his name is Tony – he might as well be a synthesizer. This would play into Tony’s god complex and how his type of mentality has been reversed and has doomed the galaxy. This would reference Tony’s relationships with Ultron, Vision, and the machines. In this case, scientific progress has effectively bitten the cosmos from behind. This leaves this character overprotective of Valeria after she loses her family. He suggests that he has emergency measures in place, but with his shady aura, fans are unsure if these are positive measures or acts of nihilism.
Alien Invasion vs. Avengers Reveals Dark Tragedy
Xenomorph Disaster Kills Valeria Richards
Unfortunately, an accident occurs in the lab. Valeria is infected and dies after being attacked by Facehuggers. Hulk goes on a rampage to kill the Xenomorph, which gives him a hard time. He suggests that when these aliens are born, they take on the traits of their “parents.” In addition to their strength, speed, and acidic blood, they may have superpowers or enhanced abilities. A Facehugger attacks Miles, leaving the heroes to wonder if they should burn him alive to save him from the pain.
However, the big twist is that Miles’ black suit is Venom. The symbiote takes control of the Facehugger, proving that it is a better parasite. It re-bonds with Miles, who now seems to have access to the Facehugger’s mind. He wants the heroes off the planet, sensing that something worse is coming. With Valeria gone, the heroes won’t be able to handle any more tragedies. However, they might have some help for the next wave.
Black Panther’s Legion is approaching. The X-Men have fled Krakoa and gone to Mars, leaving Apocalypse behind. This suggests that mutants could rally to the cause. Plus, other magical, cosmic, and street-level heroes could still be around. Ultimately, stopping the spread of the Xenomorphs will depend on what T’Challa discovers about his robot and what Miles learns by becoming a Facehugger symbiote. But based on Miles’ reaction and the information he’s gathered, more horrors lurk. It’s a daunting conclusion, affirming that the invasion was just the beginning of something much more terrifying.
