new generation

Cunning You’ll have to find out what happened The Ryu and with the brutal change of Cherry to learn more about the secret organization that could pose a danger to the entire planet.

If you are interested in the universe of Street Fighterno doubt the plot can be interesting, not to mention all the winks and references that are shown. Besides that, the story boils, maybe too slowly. There are moments of fighting, but maybe in the case of a comic book you would expect a greater number of fights. Street Fighter. At least, the finale ends with the introduction of a character that invites us to continue the story of his second volume (the closure of the series).

As for the drawing, the character designs and their fight scenes are impeccable. The saga has evolved over time, but the character designs have remained more or less the same due to their iconicity, something similar Cross took very good note. Perhaps the negative point of the drawing is that many times the backgrounds are empty and not very detailed, but since it is a comic where the important thing is the characters and the fights, it is a detail that I consider a little minor. A thin line that, combined with a palette of very light and bright colors, suits you wonderfully.

As for the extra content, these are mini standalone stories that focus on one or more characters from the large roster of the saga. The six stories that present us have different themes such as comedy or the tragic flashback of a character, but they all have one thing in common, there are very careful fight scenes. They are written and drawn by several very talented artists. It is difficult to talk about the quality of the script due to the short duration of each issue, but we can affirm the enormous quality in terms of drawing, varied, but generally appreciated. Special mention to Andrés S. Blanco And Espen Gundetjernresponsible for the focused number Dhalsima spectacular design.

The Moztros Edition of Super Street Fighter Vol 1

Butts brings us this first volume in a softcover format with a size of 17 x 26 cm, consisting of a total of 128 color pages. At the end of the volume we will find a large gallery of sketches as well as illustrations. The extra stories are interspersed with the main series and here I admit that I would have preferred that these extra contents were immediately after the main series. I think it would be useful not to lose the thread of the events of the main comic, although I have already warned that this is more the opinion of the publisher than anything else. The comic will be on sale on August 29, 2024 at a price of 17.50 euros. A collection in two volumes.

Super Street Fighter Vol 1 is a must-have comic for any fan of the saga. Even with a simple story, the plot can be convincing, but the most striking thing about the series is a drawing in which the character design and fights must be highlighted, although they are not so numerous. The additional stories that this volume brings with it expand the universe even more and have a very beautiful artistic quality.
