Walt Disney Company’s Streaming Service Fees to Rise Later This Year

Disney announced that the costs of Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ will increase in the United States later this year.

Prices are rising again

It’s a statement, The House of Mouse said the new prices will take effect on October 17.The company’s announcement includes plans with and without ads.

The price of Disney+ with ads will increase by $2 per month, so it will now cost $9.99. For its part, the ad-free version will cost $15.99, $2 more than the current price.

As for Hulu, the ad-supported platform will also increase by $2 per month, reaching $9.99; while the ad-free version will now cost $18.99. ESPN+ will increase by $1, bringing its price to $11.99.

The plan that includes Disney+ and Hulu with ads will go from $9.99 per month to $10.99. The premium, ad-free version of the same plan will remain at $19.99 per month and will not change in price. The Hulu + Live TV plan with ads will go from $76.99 to $82.99; while the ad-free plan will go from $89.99 to $95.99.

On the other hand, the company commented that it will offer all Disney+ subscribers access to the news channel ABC News Liveactive 24 hours a day.

While the increases will occur in the United States, it is a matter of time before the changes in mouse house platforms reach more territories.
