Mercenary Tao is Master Shen’s evil brother, but he is also one of the most vicious and powerful assassins in the Red Ribbon Army. 8 The Power Pole helps Goku locate Android 17 during the Power Recruitment Tournament.
Dragon Ball SuperThe Goku Tournament of Power is a battle royale between the strongest fighters in the multiverse where the price of failure is complete erasure. It is extremely important that Goku assemble the best team possible to represent Universe 7 in battle. During the recruitment process, Goku learns from Dende that Android 17 is still at large and has grown stronger than ever since his last appearance. Goku is unable to locate Android 17 due to the androids’ ability to not emit ki signatures.
However, Dende is able to help Goku locate the crashed android with a little help from the Power Pole. The Power Pole has the Lookout and Korin Tower attached together. However, the Power Pole retracts so that the Lookout can travel through the air, changing locations, and helping Goku make contact with Android 17. It is rare to see the Power Pole even mentioned in Dragon Ball Superso it’s exciting that he’s once again helping Goku on one of his journeys.

King Piccolo is one of the originals Dragon BallHe makes an even greater impression on the audience by creating several dark vassals who do his bidding for him, whether it be assassinating the World Tournament finalists or collecting the Dragon Balls. King Piccolo gives birth to Cymbal, Drum, Piano, Ukelele, and Tambourine, the latter of which kills Krillin. Goku harbors incredible anger and resentment towards Tambourine, which sparks suspenseful battles between the two.
Goku uses the Power Pole to attack Tambourine in their first fight, in which Tambourine destroys Goku’s Flying Nimbus, but he manages to neutralize the weapon. Things play out very differently in Goku’s rematch against Tambourine, where Goku comes back considerably stronger. Tambourine tries to flee the fight and fly away so he can recover. Goku cannot fly, but he uses the Power Pole to propel himself upwards, catching Tambourine off guard and eliminating him with an aerial Kamehameha.
6 Goku takes Monster Carrot and his bunnies to the Moon using the Power Pole
There is no shortage of strange individuals in Dragon Ball and Goku, Bulma, and Oolong encounter an extremely unusual antagonist early in the original series. Monster Carrot is a giant anthropomorphic rabbit with the ability to magically transform his targets into carrots. Monster Carrot uses this terrifying power to isolate himself and a band of devoted rabbits and take over communities. Monster Carrot briefly turns Bulma into a carrot, but Goku helps him return to normal and he puts this tyrant out of commission.
The Power Pole is essential in this fight, as direct contact with Monster Carrot will also allow him to turn Goku into a vegetable. Finally, Goku extends the Power Pole to extreme lengths when he uses it to pin Monster Carrot and his group of rabbits on the moon as punishment. Such an exaggerated feat would be impossible without this elongated tool.

The Power Pole proceeds to save Goku when Murasaki retaliates with his sword, but his blade shatters against Goku’s superior tool. Goku’s Power Pole is also crucial to the boy’s success when Murasaki summons his many brothers to gang up on Goku. Ninja Murasaki faces defeat, but the Power Pole also aided Goku against Red Ribbon when he used it to destroy Major Metallitron’s left hand in their previous clash.
