San Diego Comic-Con is just around the corner, and with it the most exciting rumors about the MCU, Hulk vs. Including the Wolverine movie.

Get ready for big Marvel news this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con! But before the craze begins, there are plenty of amazing rumors about the MCU circulating on the internet.

Sam Raimi could direct Spider-Man 4.

We’ll start with Spider-Man 4, which is still a long way off and may not be shown at SDCC. However, rumors continue to swirl that Sam Raimi, the director of the original Spider-Man trilogy, is being considered to direct the No Way Home sequel.

On a recent episode of the Hot Mic podcast, co-host Jon Rocha heard that Justin Lin (known for the Fast and Furious movies) may still be in the mix, but Jeff Snyder doesn’t expect the studio to decide on a director. The script is complete (probably and we haven’t heard anything about it yet).

Expected returns

Chris Evans has been confirmed to return as Steve Rogers in Avengers: Secret Wars. This wouldn’t be too surprising, but if true, it would be nice to have confirmation that the original Captain America is back. The news comes from popular scooper MTTSH.

Additionally, MTTSH also reports that Emma Stone is in talks for the role of the mysterious superhero after she turned down playing Sue Storm in Fantastic Four. Stone was originally offered the role of the Invisible Woman, but it was heard that he demanded too much money. If this is true, it will be interesting to see which character catches your interest.

The Newton Brothers (Doctor Sleep, The Haunting of Hill House, X-Men ’97) have scored the soundtrack for the upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again. Updates on this program have been few and far between lately, but we hope to hear more at SDCC.

The big bomb

MTTSH A Wolverine Vs. Hulk is officially under development at Marvel Studios. This may sound more wishful than realistic, but – as you may have heard – Deadpool and Wolverine have a brief scene of Logan clashing with the Green Giant, which could serve as a small preview of the final confrontation.

This summary makes it clear that Marvel has a lot of surprises in store for fans at San Diego Comic-Con. With Sam Raimi’s possible direction for Spider-Man 4, the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, and the mysterious new Hulk vs. Wolverine, the future of the MCU is exciting and action-packed.
