In Shimmering Sky, the Kingdom of Lorcana holds a grand festival to celebrate their recent victory over Ursula, the return of Ursula in the previous set. Although most of Lorcan participates in the fun and joyous activities of the festival, a new mystery begins to unravel as Ursula searches for a way to repair the damage done to the Great Illumination.
Shimmering Skies includes Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph, introducing characters like Vanellope Von Schweitz and Fix-It-Felix Jr. Plus, players will experience new game mechanics, an updated story, and beautiful artwork, all accompanied by an electrifying energy that highlights both celebrations. New accessories include 2 play mats, from Disney’s Charming movie and Belle’s glimmer, “Accomplished Mystic” from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast movie (€19.99) and a new 9 pocket card album, featuring illustrations by Disney’s Lorcan artist Nicholas Cole (€24.99).
Completing this line of new accessories are card sleeves (€9.99) and deck boxes (€5.99) with Disney characters Tiana and Aladdin. Additionally, for the first time, a 9-pocket card album and card sleeves featuring the Disney Lorcana TCG card back design will be available.
Disney Villainous: The Introduction of Evil comes with a surprise letter from Lorca
A special foil edition of the new Shimmering Skies card is available in new copies of Disney Villainous: Introduction to Villainous Game.
Originally introduced as a limited Disney100 offering in 2023, Disney Villainous: The Intro of Villain reintroduces some of the franchise’s original Disney villains (Maleficent, Captain Hook, Ursula, and Prince John from the Robin Hood movie), with reduced prices, video inputs compatible. An “improved” game for beginners and based on feedback from both fans of the game and the experience gained by the Ravensburger team during the development of the Danny Villanius game system.
To celebrate the game’s release, the Disney Villain team will be lending their iconic art style to Prince John’s Shimmering Sky Card at select retailers and hobby shops. This Disney Lorcana TCG card can be found on new Disney Villainous: Introduction to Villain cover special sticker copies.
