It was recently rumored that DC Studios wanted Jason Momoa in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, and now a new report claims that a Lobo-centric film is in development.

According to MyTimetoShineHello, a James Gunn DCU movie focusing on Lobo is in development. Although the insider didn’t make it clear whether the character would be played by Momoa, it’s hard to think of a specific actor for the role, especially after various rumors linking the Aquaman star to the DC character. In fact, another report recently shared that Momoa might be seen in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow and the actor is said to be playing Lobo.

In a December 2023 interview, Momoa made some interesting revelations about Lobo.

“It was Lobo… I collect comics and I don’t do that much anymore, but he was always my favorite and I always wanted to play him, because ‘Hello? It’s the perfect role.’ Listen.
