Deadpool and Wolverine’s new adventure The Loud Mercenary may be the longest to date.
Marvel Studios continues to surprise its fans and this time it’s working on a Deadpool and Wolverine movie, which promises to be the longest in the mercenary saga. According to AMC theaters listings, the film will have a running time of 2 hours and 7 minutes, ahead of its predecessors. Get ready for an extra dose of action and humor!
Record length for Deadpool
To put this into perspective, the first Deadpool movie was 1 hour and 48 minutes long, while the sequel was almost 2 hours long. This third installment will not only mark Deadpool’s debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), but will also feature more content than ever before.
Additionally, new international promotional banners have surfaced online, recycling images from previous posters but featuring more of Wade Wilson and Logan in action.
More movies on the horizon?
In a recent interview with Empire, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman were asked about future plans in the MCU. Reynolds jokingly replied, “I’m too scared to talk to you.” “I’ve never been so afraid of what’s coming out of my mouth,” Jackman added. Although they missed a direct answer, their comments leave the door open for more Deadpool and Wolverine adventures in the future.
It’s hard to imagine Reynolds returning to the MCU for just one movie, and while we’ll finally see another actor as Wolverine, Jackman may have one more movie on his hands. There are rumors that his version of Logan could be one of the main heroes in Avengers: Secret Wars.

Morena Baccarin returns as Vanessa, Leslie Ughams as Blind Al, Rob Delaney as Peter, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio. Additionally, Emma Corrine and Matthew Macfadyen join the cast as a TV agent and Cassandra Nova, the evil counterpart of Charles Xavier.
The official description of the film reveals an interesting twist in Wade Wilson’s life. After some professional setbacks and a mid-life crisis, he decides to retire as Deadpool and become a used car salesman. But when the world is in danger, he decides to get back to work and hires a reluctant Wolverine to fight for his survival and his legacy.

Directed by Sean Levy and scripted by Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick and Zeb Wells, the film promises to live up to expectations. With a stellar cast and an interesting plot, this new installment has the potential to be a hit at the box office.
