More problems for Green Lantern! Earth is now completely isolated from the rest of the DC Universe.

In The New Green Lantern, a new threat has isolated Earth from the rest of the DC Universe.

Green Lantern finds Earth isolated from the rest of the DC Universe by magic.

Earth in quarantine

In the absence of the Guardians, the Green Lantern Corps is now in charge of the United Planets, and although everything seems to be going well with the heroic team, a new threat threatens everything they find.

Green Lantern #8 by Jeremy Adams and Amankai Nahuelpan finds Hal Jordan and Razor finding a way to warn the United Planets about a possible conspiracy against the Green Lantern Corps. Razor’s visit to Earth is to enlist Jordan’s help in confronting those who destroyed the Blue Lanterns. However, the ring Hal created did not allow him to leave the planet Earth’s atmosphere.

Hal had no choice but to seek help elsewhere, which is why he went to see Madame Xanadu, one of the most powerful magicians on the planet. The hero’s plan was for the woman to send a message through space. Unfortunately, Jordan’s idea didn’t turn out the way he thought it would.

Xanadu confesses to Hal that he is not the only one who has asked for such a favor since his enemy Sinestrom did. The villain was a villain on Earth, and wanted to escape, but when Xanadu tried to help him, he learned that someone on a cosmic level had sealed off Earth with magic. He does not know who can bring this about.

If that wasn’t enough, now the United Planets are at odds with the Green Lantern Corps, because they think Razor is a threat. The funny thing is that they’re more worried about the looming threat of Hal Jordan wearing an unauthorized Green Lantern ring.
