New stories of mutants Ultimate X-Men will be directed by Peach Momoko and we already got to see their alternate cover with new characters

Marvel Comics has released an official trailer that dives us into the newly revamped Ultimate X-Men universe, as it dramatically redefines the comics landscape. Under the creative direction of Peach Momoko, an artist and writer with a unique talent for capturing the essence of the new and bold, this series promises to take us down never-before-explored paths in the world of mutants.

A new dawn for mutants

Set to premiere in early March, Ultimate X-Men ranks as the third ongoing series in Marvel’s enhanced Ultimate Universe, following in the footsteps of Ultimate Spider-Man and Ultimate Black Panther. This trailer is not only a preview of what’s to come, but also showcases Momoko’s unique dynamic community. The focus of this new saga is on Hisako Ichiki, also known as Armor, and Maystorm, Momoko’s first creation appeared in Marvel’s New Champions alternate cover program.

However, fate has other plans for her and her friends, who find themselves in Japan, where urban legends come to life, giving them extraordinary powers. Thus was born Armor, Maystorm and a team like never before seen Ultimate X-Men.

Peach Momoko shares her enthusiasm and belief in this project, her vision for Ultimate X-Men moves away from the classic X-Men narrative, wanting to deliver something completely new and different. This new and revolutionary approach is exactly what Marvel wanted when they chose Momoko to lead this project, based on the vision of AiPT Comics.
