Wilson Bethel returns to the Marvel Universe in Daredevil: Reborn
After the creative reboot of Daredevil: Rebirth, Marvel Studios took the project seriously, and now, it has been revealed that Wilson Bethel is returning for the Marvel Cinematic Universe series Bullseye.
Bullseye returns to action
Bethel first appeared as the iconic villain in Season 3 of Netflix’s Daredevil. In the show, Benjamin Poindexter’s character dons a Daredevil costume to face Matt Murdock, but he is never seen as Bullseye from the comics. The idea was for him to appear as a classic villain in Season 4 of the canceled Netflix series. Now, a new report says Bethel has joined the cast of Rebirth.
Comicbook.com says Bethel will return as Bullseye for the MCU show. The media did not provide more details, so it is not known what his role will be in the story of rebirth. Bethel is the latest addition to the project after the creative reboot. The series is now under development by The Punisher writer Dario Scardapane, while Loki Season 2 directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead will direct the remaining episodes.
Bullseye is last seen undergoing surgery on his damaged vertebrae and the camera zooms in on his right eye as the character wakes up.
