9-1-1 The fans do not seem to be decided about this controversial character (and that makes no sense)

It is difficult to deny that ABC 9-1-1 Has a passionate fans base. Since its beginnings in 2018, the fire fighting procedure has regularly raised a massive and vocal audience. For fans of the show, the 118 is like an extended family. The team’s weekly trials are similar to coveted telephone calls – updates filled with theater which attracts dressings and laughter. Although this connection helps the show to maintain its strong anchored, it also produces an intriguing dynamic between 9-1-1The characters and his fans.

Enter Tommy Kinard (Lou Ferrigno Jr.). Formerly a member of the Central Station of the issue 118, its presence can be one of the most controversial parts of 9-1-1. Only the tragic and particular death of “CAP” Bobby Nash (Peter Krause), affectionately known to many fans under the name of “Fire Dad”, seems to have replaced the speech surrounding Tommy Kinard. So what is the problem with Tommy?

Tommy Kinard has a lot of drama on the screen

  • As indicated in “All Fall Down”, Tommy has no good relations with his father. The two are not in terms of speech, and Kinard compared him to the former irritable captain of the 118.

It is easy to forget that 9-1-1 First introduced Lou Ferrigno Jr. to the programming of season 2. Yes, in 2018, he appears as a parallel character in “Hen Begins”. In the original episode Henrietta Wilson (Aisha Hinds), he heard – but, in particular, not shown – working in the position now occupied by Evan “Buck” Buckley (Oliver Stark). He plays just as small pieces in “Chimney Begins”, “Broken” and “Bobby begins again”. Then he disappears for five whole seasons.

I think this firefighter is silently 1 of the best characters from 9-1-1 (but the show has escaped his script)

Howard Han is one of the best assets of 9-1-1, but in many ways, I think the series completely undermines what makes it special.

His first “appropriate” appearance intervenes in “capsized” of season 7, when he saw by piloting the helicopter which saves Bobby and Athena (Angela Bassett) of a founding cruise ship. Shortly after, he became friends with Edmundo “Eddie” Diaz (Ryan Guzman) and joined his regular basketball matches. The unexpected key in the dynamic style of dynamic cramps of 118.

Thus begins a unila unilateral competition between Buck and Tommy. The latter is perfectly unconscious of such attempts, while the first is the hell to “gain in return” the good graces of his team. All of this ends up getting feared when Buck is slightly too aggressive, Eddie encloses the ankle. And it would not be the decision to push Tommy in one of the many slow combustion novels of the show.

Fans do not like Tommy Kinard to “separate” their favorite twinning

  • For most viewers, actor Lou Ferrigno Jr. presented his game for the first time in 2013 as “Drunk Guy” on Days of our lives. But he had a role earlier in the direct film in video 1313: unrelated Hercules in 2012.

Thanks to a series of somewhat predictable bumpers, the former “right shooter” Buck ended up kissing Tommy. The two then agree to go out with their first attempt. Finally, after Buck crossed some of his feelings, they take a second swing at dating. This time, it is more successful, and it leads to a sustained relationship.

And that – the original dynamic between Buck and Tommy – is the source of the Fandom misfortune of Kinard. For, as anyone spent more than five minutes with a 9-1-1 Fan can attest, the most popular association of the show is Buck and Eddie (“Buddie”).

I love 9-1-1, but the biggest error in the series was underdeveloped 2 pivot characters

The 9-1-1 has an incredible treasure of characters, but I believe that two of its best characters have been underused and underestimated for too long.

Thus, one (surprisingly) large contingent of 9-1-1 Fans absolutely hate Tommy Kinard. They consider it a road roadblock towards their ultimate objective of achieving a canonical relationship between firefighters Evan Buckley and Edmundo Diaz. The dynamics at war between what fans and the 9-1-1 The Chamber of Writers trains most of the contempt of the Fandom.

But there are also some attempts (variable authenticity) to dress Kinard hatred. Some maintain that their hatred for Tommy does not completely depend on his status as another “Bouddie killer”. Rather, they support that they don’t like Tommy to be candy for one -dimensional eyes. Others highlight Tommy’s more reducing trends and say he has a short fuse.

There are still fans who love Tommy

  • Tommy and Buck share the same ex, former phone operator Abby Clark (Connie Britton). In fact, Tommy and Abby were hired for two years before separating. By all external appearances, their split was friendly.

Nothing is ever placed in stone. To start, from “laboratory rats”, the relational status of Buck and Tommy is at best tenuous; The pair officially separates after an argument in “Confessions”. While Lou Ferrigno Jr. is always ready to be a 9-1-1 Regularly, his role in Buck’s life remains a mystery. It should also be noted that not everyone hates Tommy. There is an important segment, although less vocal 9-1-1Fans who support his inclusion.

Fans of 9-1-1 do not give this season underestimated the credit it deserves (and it is in fact a masterpiece)

9-1-1 may have won more fans during its pursuit, but the first season of this amazing procedural drama is an essential visualization.

For these viewers, Kinard is an intriguing touch in the usual formula of the series. It is a new and new face, and it deserves time to grow. Then there is always the group of fans who simply don’t care. Although they are not as vocal as Tommy’s detractors, these fans are ambivalent in their place in the show. Many casual things 9-1-1 The followers are probably entering this category, as are many “hardcore” fans.

Whatever his opinion on the question, the facts seem to suggest that Tommy is there to stay. And given the death of Bobby in season 8, its place in the family dynamics of 118 could gain more importance. So for now, fans will just have to wait and see what’s going on.
