Relatable bad guys have long been fashionable. As the public refused to settle for the Manichean dichotomy of “good” and “evil”, movie The bad guys have become much richer and more balanced characters. The result is not that all the bad guys are worth defending – many are always bad for good – but that many bad guys are, above all, interesting.
Avenging personal betrayals to serve her with protruding social criticisms, the “bad guys” in the films, comics and fans’ favorite video games are sometimes on the right – or, at least, to something that adds depth beyond the simple promulgation. But, despite their methods, many bad guys are known to be from time to time.
Updated on April 20, 2025 by Andrea Sandoval. The nasty captivating make some of the most convincing films and television programs. Having a bad guy who is not mistaken is a shortcut to create one whose fans will feel in conflict and therefore interested. He worked as a teacher’s laboratory assistant when he was a young chimpanzee. He was very chaotic, constantly breaking things in the laboratory, leading to the accident that gave birth to the PowerPuff girls and his superior intelligence. Even if Mojo Jojo was not a good assistant, he was the responsibility of Professor Uranium. The scientist had just abandoned a super-denie chimpanzee in the world without thinking about how he would affect the creature. As Mojo Jojo says, “the evil geniuses are made, not born.” In the film, Mojo Jojo also makes a big point on the resentment of the human race to abuse and reject the chimpanzees.

Mufasa was not the best scar brother in the king of the lion
Scar was expressed by Jeremy Irons in The Lion King and by Kelvin Harrison Jr. in Mufasa: The Lion King
While Scar is one of the most irremediable Disney bad guys, arguing his motivations is difficult. Yes, his methods were false, but Scar had a lot of reasons to be stiff. In the world of The Lion KingThe scar must probably had to live in the shadow of Mufasa, without mating and getting the least food. The birth of Simba could only signify even more humiliation and a lower chance of survival for the lion, which leads him to kill his brother and take control of pride.
Scar has become an even more complex villain in the recent film MUFASA: the king of the lion, This proves that the relationship between Scar and Mufasa has always had its ups and downs. After Mufasa loses his family, Scar (formerly named Taka at the time) Saved it from being eaten by crocodiles. He also helps her get a place in his family and even sacrifices his honor by letting him win a race so that his father accepts it. However, motivated by jealousy, he established a trap for Mufasa when Mufasa and Sabari (the lioness he loved) falls in love. Soon, Taka regrets it and helps her brother in the fight, obtaining the scar which would name him forever. MUFASA never really forgives him, rejoining the scar and subtly pushes him out of the community.

The CW Lex Luthor Smallville Starts like a friendly friend in the life of Clark Kent. Clark saves Lex’s life when he crushes his car, which confuses Lex but also gains a great appreciation of Clark. It seems that Lex wanted to really do good in the world with his father’s money, but his need for power, his jealousy of Clark and his childhood trauma consumed Lex’s identity.
When Lex was a child, he was almost dead thanks to the Clark spacecraft. His hair burned and he could never push him away. Likewise, his peers intimidated him and his father considered him weak. When Lex learns that Clark is Superman, he feels naturally betrayed. Unfortunately, Lex had the resources and intelligence to become the greatest enemy of Superman, and their battle has reached its ultimate point. Although Lex’s morality is quite chaotic and diabolical, it has a point to suspect the powers of Superman. After all, Clark can easily destroy cities. Supergirl Lex, for example, argues that it is important to keep kryptonite in case a super is bad, and he is right. Supers, for example, can become violent when exposed to red kryptonitis, and kryptonite is the only way to stop these powerful beings.

Edgar of the Aristocats had a deserved resentment against his employer
Roddy Maude-Roxby expresses Edgar in Aristocats
Edgar of ARISTOCATS is easy to hate because he tries to kill the most adorable kittens in the world. Honestly, it is even difficult to believe that this film is for children. However, at the same time, Edgar has a very convincing argument. He worked all his life for Madame Bonfamille, and she decides to give all her money to her cats.
It is logical that Madame Bonfamille wants her cats to be taken care of after her death, but to give all her money to animals that will not appreciate this seems ungrateful enough. To worsen things, she doesn’t even think about her butler’s future, a man who has probably devoted her life to taking care of herself and is older himself. These circumstances do not make Edgar less greedy or badly, but we can see where the resentment comes from.

Killmonger was right on Wakanda’s isolationism
Killmonger is played by Michael B. Jordan
Part of what did Black panther A huge blow, and an absolute shoo in for the popular film Oscar, was the absolutely fascinating performance of Michael B. Jordan as an antagonist of the film, Killmonger. Denied his birth right and rejected by his isolated kingdom, Killmonger estimated that it was bad that such an advanced civilization was hidden while acts of inhuman cruelty existed in the world and promoted the idea of an armed Pan -African uprising.

Doctor Doom just wanted his mother to come back
Doctor Doom was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby
Part of the charm of Doctor Doom is that, as it was the intention of the creators Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, in all his wickedness, there was always an air of justice and nobility. The public did not expect to believe that Doom was in fact the tyrannical Savior that the world needed, but that Doom himself still considered his attempts at world domination as altruism.
Undeniably, however, Doom was not only sympathetic but downright heroic in the graphic novel often forgotten, Doctor Strange and Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment. In history, written by Roger Stern, with the art of Mike Mignola, Mark Badger and Jim Novak, the readers follow Doom, who joined Doctor Strange, in a trip to hell himself to fight Mephisto for the soul of the dead mother of Doom. It is a powerful pattern for any character and who immediately obtains sympathy.

Roy Batty really hurt
Roy Batty is played by Rutger Hauer
THE Oscar Blade Runner 2049 had suggested that it was equaled or even exceeded the original, but an element fell flat: Niander Wallace, the mustache of Jared Leto, could not hold a candle at the antagonist of the original film, Roy Batty. Batty’s tremendous antagonism is a major reason Blade runner is considered one of the greatest science fiction films of all time.
Batty is undoubtedly the most relatable villain in contemporary science fiction. His fate is an analog of man’s own struggle with mortality, his destructive path to face his creator and demand more time for the own struggles of humanity against the finality of death. In the end, Deckard cannot see Batty as an enemy, but as a sympathetic and sensitive Android, in pain, desperate to find meaning in his unnecessarily brief existence.
