The plush could as well be a horror feature film
Supernatural, season 11, episode 7
Horror fans are not foreigners to see scary mascots. From Five nights at Freddy has CreepyMascot horror films have already become an sub-genre. However, this supernatural episode always brings something terrifying and refreshing the genre. “Phas” follows a simple premise, in which a series of mascot costumes is possessed. Whoever carries the costume becomes a slasher and goes around to kill innocent people. The head of the giant rabbit does not stand out easily.
As a episode with the potential of feature films, “PlusH” also sees Sam and Dean trying to solve the mystery behind the head of the rabbit. Combining the resolution of the crime with horror, the episode has a good scenario which is not too complicated to understand. The head of the scary rabbit also becomes a terrifying culminating point in the episode. There are scenes where the rabbit is captured and studied (instead of running only like a slasher), which adds considerably to its goose flesh. Just like a classified film R, it continues to see more inanimate objects coming “alive”.
What makes this episode more complex than most horror films are its complexity and how unexpected twists and turns. It does not follow the same exact scheme of an avenging spirit, each murder taking place in another city. In addition to that, the episode uses Annabel– Techniques after their investigation, Sam and Dean finally found it to a woman and discover the tragedy behind the obsession. “Mannequin 3: The Reckoning” has everything: emotional depth, brilliant narration and interesting characters.

Mystery Spot forces the public and Sam to relive Dean dying again and again
Supernatural, season 3, episode 11
“Mystery Spot” presents a Happy death day– Premise of style, where Sam is stuck in a time loop, but instead of the one who died and restarting the clock, he relieved the death of Dean again and again. What makes this episode exceptionally masterful is how engaging and interesting history is. Sam, unlike most horror films protagonists, is full of mind and ingenious. The fact that he started paying attention to the people around him and understood that Loki’s thing is refreshing, since most horror films see the protagonist abandon and go into self -destruction mode before something comes back.
What makes the episode even more disturbing is that the formula has mainly changed at the end. Dean died, but the clock did not reset, and Sam had to live for months believing that he had lost his brother for good. Even if Loki finally let the brother leave, part of Sam would also wonder if Dean was going to die again (just like viewers).

Baby delivers one of the best supernatural episodes and horror masterpieces
Supernatural, season 11, episode 4
“Baby” is a masterpiece because the idea of making a bloody film from the point of view of a car is simply a genius. Since it is only baby’s sight, there are inconsistencies here and there, but that’s what makes him fun. “Baby” could easily pass like a horror comedy.
Not short of bloody details and bloody victims, the episode is also filled with charming moments of Sam and Dean singing in the car to a head that refuses to die. Since it takes place in the SupernaturalThe universe, seeing the events take place through Baby’s point of view also has an effect on viewers. The episode just leaves the right amount of mystery to wonder if there is a mind in the impala, which has become its own character at this stage.
