7 Sailor Tin Nyanko defeats Luna, Artemis and Diana

No mercy for the former inhabitants of Mau

Sailor Tin Nyanko ready to fight in Sailor Moon

Sailor Tin Nyanko is one of the Sailor Animamates, soldiers of Shadow Galactica and their leader, the powerful Sailor Galaxia. Sailor Animamates are not true Sailor Guardians; rather, their gauntlets have the power of a sailor’s crystal, giving them great abilities to use in combat. Sailor Tin Nyanko is one of the most well-known, due to her introduction and crushing defeat.

Infiltrated at Usagi High School, Sailor Tin Nynako takes the pseudonym Nyanko Suzu to appear like a normal teenager. She is extremely clingy towards Usagi, immediately arousing suspicion; her cover is blown after her first day of school. Artemis, Luna, and the Sailor Starlights had already sensed that there was something very strange about this new student, and their intuition came in handy.

It is then revealed that Sailor Tin Nyanko comes from the same planet as Artemis and Luna, the planet Mau, once guarded by Sailor Mau. Sailor Tin Nyanko killed her own planet’s Sailor Guardian in an attempt to become a true Sailor Senshi herself, and gave Sailor Mau’s Sailor Crystal to Sailor Galaxia in exchange for power. Sailor Tin Nyanko would immobilize Luna and Artemis and take away their power.the same thing happens to their daughter Diana after their battle. 6 Sailor Phi works with Sailor Chi to destroy the Sailor Starlights

The tragic fall of Princess Kakyuu’s protectors

Sailor Phi and Sailor Chi brandish their staves which suspend three glowing crystals in Sailor Moon Cosmos

Usually appearing alongside the red-clad Sailor Chi, the green-clad Sailor Phi is one of Sailor Galaxia’s highest-ranking soldiers and a formidable foe, especially when with her Sailor Gaurdian twin. Cunning, powerful and merciless, Sailor Phi is responsible for the deaths of many heroes and even her own colleagues in Shadow Galactica. It’s unclear where Sailor Phi or Sailor Chi come from, but both seem to enjoy the violent work they do.

Sailor Phi is also the leader of the Sailor Animamates, which include Sailor Iron Mouse, Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon, and Sailor Tin Nyanko, to name a few. All of her soldiers who follow her meet their end during the events of the two-part film, usually thanks to the powers of the heroic Sailor Guardians. The only Sailor Animamate killed by Sailor Galaxia, Sailor Tin Nyanko, is brought to the leader by Sailor Phi herself. She is not upset by the deaths of her soldiers and simply watches as Sailor Galaxia kills Sailor Tin Nyanko.

Alongside Sailor Chi, Sailor Phi is a Star Gardener, a title with a sweet sound and a cruel truth behind it. The two harvest Sailor Crystals from the fallen Sailor Senshi and use them to create powerful Garden Crystals, amalgams of Sailor Crystals from many Sailor Senshi. Sailor Phi joins her sister in killing the Sailor Starlightsa victory that both seemed rather proud of afterwards.

5 Queen Nehelenia is the selfish leader of the Dead Moon Circus

A conquest for dream mirrors

Queen Nehelenia, the main antagonist of Sailor Moon Eternal, wasn’t always a cruel leader. Once, she commanded a peaceful kingdom on the dark side of the moon, while wishing for there to be a balance between the forces of light and darkness. However, Queen Serenity refused his statements, not wanting there to be tension in the Silver Millennium.

This would result in the great curse of the Silver Millennium, the future demise of the kingdom, and the death of Princess Serenity. As these statements came true, the Dead Moon Circus would later arise. Fearing losing her beauty to time, Queen Nehelenia ordered her followers to collect dream mirrors to maintain youth.

4 Sailor Chi gets rid of Sailor Kakyuu

The Rise and Fall of Kinmoku’s Sailor Guardian

Sailor Kakyuu closes her eyes and prepares her Starlights Royal Straight Flush from Sailor Moon Cosmos

The Sailor Starlights of the lost planet Kinmoku were separated from their princess during the arrival of Sailor Galaxia and the impending destruction of their homeworld. Believing that Princess Kakyuu is on planet Earth, the Sailor Starlights travel there and establish new identities as pop stars known as the Three Lights, who become an instant musical sensation in Sailor Moon’s hometown, Tokyo. Their song also helps Usagi discover memories thought lost; memories of Sailor Galaxia’s first arrival and Mamoru Chiba’s death.

As Sailor Starlights suspected, Princess Kakyuu was indeed alive and hidden on Earth. However, the destruction of her planet left her injured and already passed out by the time she arrived safely on the Blue Planet. It was Chibi Chibi who had sensed her presence and found her, caring for the princess while she healed. Safe in a magical incense, Princess Kakyuu will later reveal herself to the Sailor Starlights at Usagi’s house in the second half of Part 1 of Sailor Moon Cosmos.

At Shadow Galactica Headquarters, after the death of the Sailor Starlights, Princess Kakyuu would eventually transform into Sailor Kakyuu and help Sailor Moon fight Sailor Chi and Sailor Phi. Unfortunately, after Sailor Phi’s defeat, Sailor Chi would hit Sailor Kakyuu from behind with a fatal blow. Sailor Chi was later killed by Sailor Moon, but Sailor Kakyuu unfortunately dies from her injuries. Much like her twin, Sailor Chi is ruthless and does not hesitate to use cruel tactics in combat; the two kill Sailor Lethe and Sailor Mnemosyne after refusing to kill the heroic Sailor Guardians.

A cruel commander of the fire moths

A smiling Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon stands with one hand on her hip and points the other in Sailor Moon Cosmos

The final member of the Sailor Animamates, Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon, differs from the rest of her team members. While allies such as Sailor Iron Mouse and Sailor Tin Nyanko were energetic, impulsive, and a bit naive, Sailor Heavy Metal was the complete opposite. She is surrounded by a graceful and calm atmosphere, and a noticeably more mature composure compared to her fellow Sailor Guardians on her team.

Despite her collected nature, Sailor Heavy Metal has a sadistic streak which is quickly revealed during her fight sequence. As guardian of the Shadow Galactica graveyard, where the headstones of deceased (and not yet deceased) Sailor Guardians lie, Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon does not hesitate to attack the heroes when they arrive at headquarters. She has the power to summon fire butterflies to burn her enemies to death, a sight she enjoys as the Sailor Animamate enjoys seeing her enemies suffer.

Sailor Moon and her allies are about to burn when Sailor Chibi Moon and the Sailor Quartet arrive from the future, freeing the heroes from the vines they are trapped in. Thanks to the power of the Sailor Quartet’s Amazoness Jungle Arrow, Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon is killed. . No opponent will ever again risk dying under the cold hands of Sailor Guardian or under the fire of her butterflies.

Several interpretations of the identity of the ringmaster

Zirconias holding their crystal in Sailor Moon Eternal

She would speak to the Queen through her mirror and order the Amazon Quartet to invade Earth in their conquest to collect the dream mirrors of Earth’s citizens in order to keep Queen Nehelenia young and beautiful. Zirconia would even have the Amazoness Quartet steal the Inner Senshi’s dream mirrors, as they were unable to transform during the solar eclipse.

After VesVes asked PallaPalla to give her animals human forms, the newly constructed Amazonian trio were sent by the Amazoness Quartet to retrieve the dream mirrors of three of the Inner Senshi. The ancient lionfish, Fish Eye, would seek out Ami, but he would fall under her power as Super Sailor Mercury would awaken and destroy the nightmare created by her enemy. Meanwhile, Hawk’s Eye and Tiger’s Eye set their sights on Makoto and Rei, only for the same thing to happen when Super Sailor Jupiter and Super Sailor Mars were born.

The Amazoness Quartet would later discover their true identities as the lost Sailor Quartet, corrupted and brainwashed by Queen Nehelenia. They attempt to rebel against the Dead Moon Circus, but are defeated by Zirconia and are returned to the circus alongside the captured Sailor Chibi Moon and Sailor Saturn. Zirconia would later meet her fate under the power of Sailor Moon, as the ringmaster was revealed to be Nehelenia in the events of the film, unable to admit defeat even though she was killed.

1 Sailor Galaxia can destroy planets in seconds

No world can withstand the strength of Sailor Galaxia

Although the Sailor Guardians of the solar system faced a plethora of powerful enemies in the final arc, everyone is shocked by the strength and power that Sailor Galaxia brings to the battlefield. Born on a ruined planet plagued by war and cruelty, Sailor Galaxia turned permanently against her own planet and its inhabitants after encountering Chaos itself. Vowing to serve her new master, she destroyed her homeworld, determined to find a new planet she believed worthy of her grace.

Sailor Galaxia would then create the Shadow Galactica, an empire of followers who would help her collect Sailor Crystals from every Sailor Senshi in the universe, as well as one belonging to Tuxedo Mask (although he is not a Sailor Senshi) . She would extinguish any enemies she faced, from the Inner Senshi to the Outer Senshi, while meeting her opponent in Sailor Moon. Her own master would betray her as well, before Sailor Galaxia could finally enact her plan to deceive Chaos and become more powerful than him.
