Marvel has been around for over eighty years, creating countless characters, many of whom have become household names while others have fallen into obscurity. However Marvel Rivals includes a good number of lesser known characters, there’s still plenty of room to expand the roster and plenty to choose from.
When a character reaches a certain status, creators often avoid taking risks with them to avoid backlash or criticism, which can limit the types of stories that can be told. Lesser-known heroes, however, give creators more freedom to experiment. As Marvel continues to introduce new superheroes, there are many underrated characters fans would love to see in Marvel Rivals.

Jack Hart was the son of the scientist who invented zero fluid, a powerful energy source. When Jack was a young boy, his father was murdered before his eyes and Jack was doused with a large amount of foul liquid. He gained incredible explosive abilities, which he used to avenge his father’s death. Later, Jack of Hearts became Iron Man’s apprenticebriefly joining the Avengers and eventually venturing into space when his uncontrollable powers made him a danger to those around him. Although he’s not a household name, Jack of Hearts is a fan-favorite character who would be a great addition to Marvel Rivals.
Blessed with superhuman stamina and durability, Jack of Hearts possesses explosive abilities that would make him an imposing player in any match. He can create zero energy in his body and expel it with massive concussive force and intense heat, essentially making him a living bomb. Its durability and ability to unleash powerful explosions would make it an ideal vanguard, capable of holding back enemy lines and dealing significant damage in any match.

With his mastery of ancient magic, Doctor Voodoo has become the new Sorcerer Supreme

After his brother was killed by an evil voodoo sorcerer, Dr. Jericho Drumm trained under his brother’s former master, Papa Jambo, to master the mystical arts of voodoo. Through a ritual performed by Jambo, Jericho’s spirit was linked to that of his brother, giving him increased powers. Seeking revenge, Jericho took the name Brother Voodoo. Later, after serving as a houngan of Haiti, Jericho ascends to the role of Sorcerer Supreme and adopts the name Doctor Voodoo.. Even though he’s not as beloved as his predecessor, Doctor Voodoo would still be a great addition to the group. Marvel Rivals list.

Just like the Uchiha clan from the classic Naruto anime, Sleepwalker boasts unparalleled visual prowess. His exceptional eye abilities allow him to see great distances, detect energy trails, and manipulate the shape and physical attributes of objects to his will. With the right kit, Sleepwalker could be an incredibly fun and versatile character to play as.

The Demolisher would make a formidable duelist

Dennis Dunphy, a former football player, sought help from the Power Broker in order to dramatically increase his strength. After undergoing physical augmentation, he was given pills that, unbeknownst to him, were dangerously addictive. The Power Broker used the drug to control Dunphy, but he eventually overcame his addiction and broke free. He later joined the Unlimited Class Wrestling Federation, became Captain America’s partner for a time, and even teamed up with the Avengers on occasion. If it was added to Marvel RivalsDemolition Man and Captain America might have the ability to team up which pays tribute to their partnership.

Even though Elsa Bloodstone may not be Marvel’s most popular superhero, fans would no doubt appreciate her inclusion in Rivals.
Thanks to the Bloodgem in his neck, Elsa possesses incredible super strength, speed and endurancewith a slight healing factor. As an experienced martial artist, proficient in a variety of weapons and capable of firing powerful energy blasts, she possesses all the attributes of a fearsome duelist. Elsa Bloodstone is an underused Marvel character, and Marvel Rivals would be an excellent opportunity to showcase its potential.

Hercules possesses the raw strength to be a dangerous vanguard, and aside from his superhuman speed and reflexes, he is also immortal. He does not age and can only be killed in special circumstances. While Marvel’s Hercules has all the powers of a demigodhe is generally described as significantly more powerful than most halflings. Thanks to the Disney film, Hercules is one of the most well-known demigods, but his comic book counterpart doesn’t get that kind of recognition. However, adding him to Marvel Rivals could change that.
