The winter soldier made his debut
The introduction of the winter soldier was intense
Captain America: Winter soldier is praised as one of the best entries in the MCU to date, so it is not surprising that it also contains many of the best moments of the franchise. Among the many major action sequences of the film, little can match the first introduction of the public to the winter soldier when he attacks Cap, Sam and Black Widow on a highway. The fight is intense while Bucky draws bullets and explosives in the heroes and fights Steve to melee in the middle of the destruction in a brutal but magnificent dance of punches and kicks.
Choreographed by James Young and the Cascades Coordinator Thomas Robinson Harper, the first fight between Bucky and Cap is fascinating with brutal intensity and expert precision. The scene established Bucky as one of the best fighters in the MCU and showed how terrifying the winter soldier was. The sequence is an incredible step in pure cinematographic action and also presents the now famous knife flip by the winter soldier, which is always one of the coolest and smoking movements of a combat scene to date.
