10 Dragon Ball Super Characters DAIMA Should Introduce Early

Dragon Ball DAIMA takes place before Dragon Ball Super, but the new anime has the opportunity to introduce some of Super’s characters earlier than expected.

10 Dragon Ball Z set Gohan up for success, but he’s nowhere to be found

Anime debut: Dragon Ball Z, episode 1, “The New Threat”; Manga debut: Dragon Ball Z, Chapter 2 (Dragon Ball Chapter 196), “Kakkarot”

Dragon Ball DAIMA begins with many friends and family members gathering to celebrate Trunks’ ninth birthday. There are many characters who only have tangential relationships with Trunks, such as Yamcha and Oolong. Gohan, however, is strangely absent from these festivities. There’s a throwaway line about how Gohan is studying and couldn’t make it to Trunks’ party, which probably also explains why Videl isn’t present, but it’s still a disappointing turn of events. Hercule Satan, Gohan’s stepfather, is even present for the celebration. Gohan’s absence means he probably won’t become a kid like everyone else.

This could be Dragon Ball DAIMAthe attempt to foreshadow that Gohan will appear later in the anime to help. However, the fact that Gohan is not present in any of the theme song’s opening and closing scenes seems to be a pretty strong indication that ALWAYS decided to omit this character. Gohan is at his strongest when Dragon Ball Z ends, so he would certainly be a valuable ally in ALWAYS. The new anime’s decision to exclude him from this adventure could be an attempt to explain why he has become so much weaker in Dragon Ball SuperThis is the beginning.

9 The God of Destruction Beerus Would Wreak Havoc in the Demon Realm

Anime Debut: Dragon Ball Super, Episode 1, “A Peacetime Reward Who Gets the 100,000,000 Zeni?!” ; Manga debut: Dragon Ball SD, bonus chapter 1, “Battle Of Gods SD”

The purple Beerus charges an attack in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods.

Dragon Ball is an anime that is constantly expanding its scope and raising its stakes, but Dragon Ball Super goes above and beyond in this regard with its introduction of the gods of destruction, angels, and an entire multiverse of powerful divine beings. The arrival of Lord Beerus begins Dragon Ball Super and ushers in powerful new divine ki transformations, such as Super Saiyan God. The absence of Beerus Dragon Ball DAIMA This is not really surprising, since Great‘s timeline indicates that he would still be in a deep sleep at this point. That being said, Beerus is such an entertaining loose cannon who isn’t afraid to play by his own rules.

It would be a lot of fun to see him transform into a child and head to the demon realm as he tries to get revenge on those who humiliated him. Dragon Ball Super establishes that the God of Destruction and the Supreme Kai of each universe share a life bond. It wouldn’t be hard to justify bringing Beerus in to ensure Shin doesn’t die and eliminate him in the process.

10 Great Dragon Ball Characters Who Deserve Ultra Instinct More Than Goku

Ultra Instinct is one of the most powerful transformations in Dragon Ball, but deserves to be accessible to more people than just Goku.

8 Android 17 has become an essential MVP in Dragon Ball Super

Anime Debut: Dragon Ball Z, 133, “Nightmare Comes True”; Manga debut: Dragon Ball Z, Chapter 155 (Dragon Ball Chapter 349), “The Androids Awakened!” »

Android 17 faces Anilaza during the Tournament of Power in Dragon Ball Super.

One of Dragon Ball SuperThe most exciting element of is that the Tournament of Power pushes Universe 7 to recruit their ten strongest fighters to represent their kingdom in the multiversal battle royale fight. This leads to the long-awaited return of Android 17, who not only makes his mark at the high-stakes martial arts competition, but he actually wins it. Android 17 continued to help the heroes after the conclusion of the Tournament of Power and it is satisfying to see him working alongside Android 18 as a full member of the team.

Android 18 doesn’t seem to play a big role in Dragon Ball DAIMAbut she’s at least at Trunks’ party and the audience gets a brief glimpse of her “Mini” form. It wouldn’t make sense to present Android 17 in the same context, since it hasn’t managed to fall in line with Goku and company yet, but it’s still disappointing to not be able to experience Mini Android 17. Dragon Ball Super proves that a little Android 17 goes a long way and always improves a situation.

7 Tien is a heroic human who is often overlooked

Anime debut: Dragon Ball, episode 82, “InoShikaCho’s Unleashed”; Manga Debut: Dragon Ball, Chapter 113, “Return to the Tournament”

Tien charges Harmira with her multi-form technique in Dragon Ball Super.

Tien constantly proves himself to be one of the strongest humans on Earth, which makes it all the more unfortunate that he’s gradually being pushed out of the spotlight. Dragon Ball Z enters its later story arcs. Likewise, Tien gets a satisfying showcase during the Tournament of Power and the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga, but he remains a character who deserves more attention. After all, there was a moment in Dragon Ball when Tien was actually stronger than Goku. Tien is absent at Trunks’ birthday party and there’s no explanation as to where he is, although it’s probably safe to assume he’s training somewhere.

Tien would be a rewarding addition to the team Dragon Ball DAIMA and it would be fun to see what he looks like as a child, since this period of his life has never been seen before. Tien’s third eye could also help him blend in with any escapades in the Demon Realm and appear as more than just a human. Dragon Ball DAIMA can’t feature all the characters, but it’s still a shame that this is another storyline where Tien gets overlooked. Both Tien and Chiaotzu are present in Dragon Ball DAIMA‘s group of heroes was filmed during the anime’s opening theme, which is perhaps better than nothing.

6 A bite-sized Broly would be an exciting subversion for the legendary Super Saiyan

Anime debut: Dragon Ball Super: Broly; Manga Debut: Dragon Ball Super, Chapter 42, “End and Aftermath of the Battle”

Broly has been a fan favorite Dragon Ball character since his first appearance in Dragon Ball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan. Broly had a significant run in Dragon Ball Z movies and video games, but Dragon Ball Super eventually made the character canon in the anime’s first feature film. Dragon Ball Super: Broly presents a more sympathetic version of Broly who is still incredibly powerful, but is more of a tragic figure than just a blunt weapon of destruction. Broly is fortunately spared in the film’s finale and he becomes an entertaining training partner for Goku and Vegeta on Planet Beerus.

It looks like Broly will play a major role in the upcoming battle against Black Frieza, but it would have also been rewarding to spotlight him in Dragon Ball DAIMA. Broly’s youth on Planet Vampa gave audiences a glimpse of what the legendary Super Saiyan was like as a child, so there is already a model in place that could be used for Mini Broly. It would also be simply satisfying to see a small child display the overwhelming power of a Legendary Super Saiyan, even if they find themselves slightly embarrassed.

Whether due to their god-like abilities or just pure plot armor, some Dragon Ball Super warriors are too strong for Goku and Vegeta to defeat.

5 Frieza is an intimidating threat that looms large over Dragon Ball Super

Anime debut: Dragon Ball Z, episode 44, “Brood Of Evil”; Manga debut: Dragon Ball Z, Chapter 53 (Dragon Ball Chapter 247), “Planet Namek, Cold And Dark”

Golden Frieza is frustrated in Dragon Ball Super.

Frieza is presented as a memorable character Dragon Ball Z villain, but he manages to make an impressive comeback and dominates in unexpected ways Dragon Ball Super narrative. Frieza not only returns with a new transformation – Golden Frieza – but he is then recruited by Goku to represent Universe 7 in the Tournament of Power, where he becomes an unlikely ally to his sworn enemies. This experience does not rehabilitate Frieza, and unfortunately, he uses this newfound freedom to become more powerful than ever and launch a daunting attempt at multiversal domination.

Frieza’s most recent appearance showed him mastering both Ultra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta with his new Black Frieza form. Some audiences are tired of Frieza and the many chances he’s been given, but others have learned to accept him as the franchise’s central antagonist. Frieza’s involvement in Dragon Ball DAIMA it would undoubtedly be a delight, especially if he were to be caught in Gomah’s crossfire and also be transformed into Mini Frieza.

4 Caulifla is a Saiyan scholar who proudly represents Universe 6

Anime debut: Dragon Ball Super, episode 88, “Gohan, Piccolo, master and student face off during maximum training!” ; Manga Debut: Dragon Ball Super, Chapter 32, “The Super Warriors Assemble! Part 2”

Caulifla charges Super Saiyan in Dragon Ball Super.

Dragon Ball Super gets a lot of mileage out of its multiverse concept and one of the most rewarding ideas it’s able to explore is that Universe 6 still has a thriving Saiyan population. New Saiyans are always a cause for celebration and Caulfla, Kale and Cabba from Universe 6 are really fun additions. These three Saiyans are some of the best fighters in Universe 6, but they are completely unaware of the Super Saiyan transformations before witnessing their glory during their encounters in Universe 7.

These Saiyans prove to be naturals on this front, but Caulifla’s progress is particularly impressive.. She quickly reaches Super Saiyan 2 status and nearly reaches Super Saiyan 3 strength with minimal effort. Caulifla also stands up to Ultra Instinct Goku after merging with Kale and becoming Kefla. The concept of the multiverse is not on anyone’s mind during Dragon Ball DAIMA. However, Caulifla’s presence is still greatly missed and it would be interesting to see how she negotiates the many dangers of the demon realm.

3 Gotenks is a fierce fusion fighter who helps Goten and Trunks reach new heights

Anime debut: Dragon Ball Z, episode 251, “Gotenks is Born”; Manga debut: Dragon Ball Z, Chapter 286 (Dragon Ball Chapter 480), “The fusion succeeds…?!”

Duplicate Vegeta ambushes Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks in Dragon Ball Super.

Goten and Trunks are hit very hard by Gomah’s Dragon Ball wish in Dragon Ball DAIMA. The adults in the anime become children, but Goten and Trunks turn into infants because they are already children. Goten and Trunks have huge potential in both areas. Dragon Ball Z And Dragon Ball Superbut we can safely say that their baby status ALWAYS will keep them out of the action. Goten and Trunks are powerful as individuals, but their strength reaches even greater heights when they merge with Gotenks.

Gotenks is still one of the few characters to become a Super Saiyan 3 in Dragon Ball Super. It would be pretty fascinating to see how a baby version of Gotenks works, even if it’s a malformed fusion, but this doesn’t look like ALWAYS will engage in this experience. ALWAYSOddly enough, introduced its own form of fusion with Join Bugs, but it shouldn’t come at the expense of any of the Dragon BallThe most entertaining fused fighters of.

10 Best Dragon Ball Characters, Ranked By Likeability

Many Dragon Ball characters are legendary, but who is the most likable?

2 Omni-King Zeno is the greatest divine being in Dragon Ball who rules the entire multiverse

Anime Debut: Dragon Ball Super, Episode 40, “A Decision Finally! Is the Winner Beerus? Or is it Champa?” ; Manga debut: Dragon Ball Super, chapter 13, “The winning universe is decided!”

Zeno destroys Zamasu as well as Future Trunks' timeline in Dragon Ball Super.

Dragon Ball gradually introduced more powerful divine beings, whether it was Kami, King Kai, Shin, or Grand Supreme Kai. Dragon Ball Super continues to build on this tradition and incorporates the concept of an Omni-King who dominates the 12 universes. Zeno the Omni-King is a polarizing individual who proves to be an entertaining dichotomy, to say the least. Zeno has the power to erase an entire universe on a whimyet he acts like a carefree child who just wants to have fun and have fun.

This causes most of the multiverse to be on pins and needles around Zeno, fearing that they might accidentally rub him the wrong way and trigger their own erasure. Dragon Ball DAIMA added even more prolific celestial beings to the mix, such as Warp-Sama, King Kadan, and Degesu. It would be a lot of fun to see how Zeno interacts with any of the deities from the Demon Realm and if they are intimidated by him as well.

1 Future Trunks is a famous freedom fighter torn between two timelines

Anime debut: Dragon Ball Z, episode 119, “The Mysterious Youth”; Manga debut: Dragon Ball Z, Chapter 136 (Dragon Ball Chapter 330), “The Coming of King Cold”

Future Trunks has one of the best intros of them all Dragon Ball and this helped him become one of the most famous characters in anime, even though he is only present in two major story arcs. The return of Future Trunks in Dragon Ball Super during the “Future” Trunks Saga, it’s an incredible surprise and it serves as a perfect complement to Goku and Vegeta’s relentless assault on Goku Black and Future Zamasu. Future Trunks has a lot at stake as Goku Black has ravaged his timeline and is doing even more damage than the Future Androids.

Future Trunks ascends to Super Saiyan Rage status and channels spirit bomb-like power into his Sword of Hope, but he unfortunately leaves after the battle’s conclusion. Dragon Ball fans want as much Future Trunks as possible and his appearance in Dragon Ball DAIMA would be a good way to appease the public. At the very least, it would be fun to see the Mini Future Trunks grow to the size of regular Trunks, who regressed even further and became a baby.
